One of our "bigger reds," Petit Verdot tends to be the final red harvested each year, achieving increased maturity in the vineyard compared to most other red grapes in our region. The small berry clusters allow for a higher skin to juice ratio in the fermentation process making for a tannic and deeply colored wine.
