The 2021 Montevideo is a 100% Estate Wine, made entirely from grapes grown at Rocklands on a hillside of clay/loam and decomposed Seneca sandstone.

The 2021 vintage leads with soft fruits, primarily black raspberry and blueberry alongside floral notes of violet and tertiary notes of fresh leather, which should become more accentuated with age. We're particularly fond of this primary blend of Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc to provide both structure and finesse to the wine.

Texturally the wine is smooth and supple, representing the overall terroir of Rocklands Farm. The 2021 Montevideo ends with a long finish that leads one to finding new aromas with each sip.
